Sexual health workshop
On 30th April the project invited Blessings Ncube, an HIV Clinical Nurse Specialist who works for NELFT, to deliver a sexual health workshop to our participants. Blessings provided information about sexually transmitted infections and how to prevent them and gave out leaflets and condoms. The session was very positive with participants feeling comfortable enough to discuss their concerns with Blessings who was able to dispel some of the common myths on this topic.
NELFT’s HIV specialist community nursing team provides care, support and advice to people living with HIV. The team of nurses have extensive experience in the field of HIV.
